Hi, I’m Maxie! I found my forever home this week. My new dad, Christopher, is a veteran of the United States Air Force. He loves nature, which is good for me, because I have a feeling I will get a lot of walks and time outside.
I am pretty high energy, so I think that will work out well. I was found as a stray in Jackson County before I was moved from a rural shelter to Gigi’s, I love that place.
It was at Gigi’s where VCAS learned about me and thought I would be a perfect fit with my dad. I am spunky, smart and have streaks of brown in primarily gun metal gray coat. They think I am a Shih Tzu-Poodle mix because of my coloring and coat.
I am so happy to be home. My dad and I are hitting it off already and we can’t wait to learn new tricks together and visit the dog park.
