A huge thank you to Delaware Northwest Veterinary Clinic for holding a supply drive for our rescue dogs and veterans and the $200.00 donation to Operation Pawsible – we are so grateful!

Big Walnut Elementary

A huge thank you to the wonderful students at Big Walnut Elementary for the “Gotcha Boxes”!

The students participated in the schoolwide project for Valentine’s Day – and now these boxes will be going home with our rescue dogs and veterans on placement day!

They include two handmade t-shirt chew toys, a handmade PVC enrichment toy, a decorated picture frame for them to use for their new pup, no-sew blankets, treats, and thank you for your service letters.

We are so grateful for the support from these wonderful students and their teachers – you truly are making a difference in the lives of veterans and rescue dogs.

Oak Creek Elementary

A huge thank you to Oak Creek Elementary School and Asst. Principal Jennifer Sabo for all of the supplies for our rescue dogs!

After VCAS President & CEO Joshua Doran and Patriot Affairs Lead Tom Lennon spoke at the school in November, they held a supply drive for our dogs – resulting in two boxes of great supplies for our companion animals.

We are so grateful whenever individuals and businesses make in-kind donations to VCAS. We provide food and supplies for our rescue dogs during the first year after placement. We appreciate help from VCAS supporters in providing these items.
