We would like to take a moment to thank some very important friends of VCAS.
First up is PricewaterhouseCoopers, or PwC, who awarded our organization one of their Market Grants through their own charitable foundation. Their employees nominate and then vote for funding “charitable organizations whose philanthropic missions are aligned with that of their foundation”. The Charitable Foundation of PwC has a strong commitment to our Veterans and it is an honor for us to have been selected as a recipient.
We also wish to thank the Ohio Animal Health Foundation (OAHF), which is the charitable arm of the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association, for the grant they recently awarded us. As stated on their website, “Recognizing that animal welfare concerns have a direct impact on society, OAHF strives to find ways to foster the unique human-animal bond.” Receiving this generous grant from them reinforces our own mission statement which is: To enrich the lives of veterans, military families and dogs through the many benefits of the human-animal bond.
Last but not least, we thank the Firespring Foundation for both their grant and their expertise. They took our ideas, wants and wishes and transformed them into our wonderful website that you are visiting now.
In addition to the material things each of these grants enable us to attain, we are honored by the vote of confidence these generous charitable branches have given us in awarding us their grants. We thank you all so much.
